ANNA BODENHAGEN first discovered yoga by searching for a form of fitness I could feel good practicing throughout the rest of my life. I was looking for something without risk of injury due to trying to keep up with younger fitness instructors. After my first class I was hooked and realized yoga is so much more than physical movements. Each practice is different and I discover something new, strong and unique about myself each time I step onto the mat. I decided I wanted to deepen my practice by becoming certified to teach and have been teaching since 2018. I’m always expanding my knowledge through enhancing workshops. My teaching style focuses on thoroughly cuing students in proper body alignment and encouraging them to explore the possibilities yoga holds for them. Basic and intermediate vinyasa flow, restorative and sculpt yoga are my favorites to teach. I am a wife and mother of two children as well as a practicing hairstylist for 35 years. Yoga brings a perfect balance into my life and I know I can take this with me for the rest of my life and hopefully share my passion with others.
