JULIE COLE has been practicing yoga since 2003 and has a masters degree in social work. She became passionate about her practice about 5 years ago and completed her 200 Hour Teacher Training through Prairie Yoga in 2013. Julie now enjoys sharing her love of yoga with her students, friends and family.
While Julie has practiced different styles of yoga over the years, she has been most drawn to alignment-based yoga and to studying the therapeutic effects of yoga on one's mind, body and spirit. Julie's intention as a teacher is to provide her students with a safe and supportive environment in which to practice, learn and grow as students of life and yoga. In addition to teaching adult and family yoga classes, Julie has begun to combine her yoga teaching skills with her social work background to teach trauma-sensitive yoga to both children and adults.
