KATIE VAN EYNDE

KATIE VAN EYNDE's journey into the healthcare industry began in 2010, when she attended Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy. Since then, she has grown an understanding and a deep appreciation for the human body and its ability to heal itself. Katie believes that with the right approach & intention, the art of touch makes all the difference. Based on her client's specific needs she incorporates different massage modalities, such as Swedish, hot stone, prenatal, energy work and therapeutic massage. Katie believe that massage is not only a luxury, but an effect way of treating chronic pain, fatigue, stress, injury, anxiety and depression. She has worked specifically with frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, rotatorcuff injuries, sciatica & plantar fasciitis.

In addition to her massage therapy education, she received her 200-hour training to become a Yoga instructor through Prairie Yoga (Lisle, IL) in 2015. Throughout her experience, she has gained and found a deeper understanding of balance, peace and awareness of the physical and emotional body. In her classes, Katie combines creative sequencing, proper alignment, along with a touch of inspiration to guide her students into a deeper practice. She brings a compassionate demeanor and a heart center approach to her profession.Katie continues to inspire and teach others the importance of bodywork and self-love. In 2014, she published a self-help book called Motivate Your Magnetic Mind. The book guides others to gain a positive outlook and release negative thought patterns- allowing the reader to live in the moment and enjoy life! Katie also has a strong passion for knowledge and awareness, and is a life-long student. She would love to continue her education by studying Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Thai massage among others. She also has the ambition to write more books and endure the 500 hour Yoga teacher training!

During her free time you can find her meditating, reading, writing poetry, practicing yoga/Pilates and spending time with her hedge hog and guinea pigs. She is free spirit and has caring heart for animals of all kinds. She enjoys scrap-booking and creating art from drawing and painting to photography.
